Exploring both what's inside my mind and out

Friends

What I want to know is why is it so damn hard to cultivate friendships with women? Is it just me or is this a common problem.
I'm lonely. I have a husband but it just isn't the same.
Sometimes when I get lonely I cultivate friendships with men. That is not safe when your married.
Anybody got an insight for me?

Toni,
No worries. There are women out here that would open up to your friendship. Just trust that you will accept them and nurture what you have.
Be open.
Be free.
Be honest.
Be joyful.
Just Be....

What's your favorite Lucy episode?

Anni

Thank you for your comment and I think maybe the open thing was causing my problem. I wil work on that.

My favorite Lucy episode is when she is stomping grapes. It's something I've always wanted to do and she made it hilarious.

Hi, Toni!
Are you excited to start the journal project? I think it's a good start to get to know some creative, talented and gracious women. Don't you?

Grape stomping is a blast. Although, these days, it's done for just fun and show at some wineries. FDA regs are set in place when it comes to commercial consumer products, considering the health codes. I'm sure, if you're ever in wine country during harvest season there is a grape vat waiting for your delicate feet to stomp the juice out of them grapes.

What's the last book you've read?

Tootles,
Anni :-)

Oh those old FDA fuddie duddies. Just kidding.

Yes, I am excited to start the journal project. I'm thinking of beginning my own journeying journal as I've just reaquainted myself with a high school chum and I think we could have fun with a traveling journal.

The last book I read was the new Elizabeth Berg book called "We Are All Welcome Here". I think it is one of her best. She is one of my favorite authors and I actually got to meet her once.

Right now I'm reading "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. It is an awesome biography of her year of searching for herself.
